Extra Edge Community Services is a leader in Community Learning and Development based in the South East Metropolitan region of Perth, Western Australia. We work with the Community to identify and achieve innovative learning and development outcomes.

Extra Edge Community Services supports various programs to help all community members lead rewarding lives. The three main programs we support are:

• Employment Directions Network – a State Government Funded program that supports the community in employment and career development.
• Parent-Child Mother Goose Program® - a program designed to develop the principles of "cuddle, communicate and connect" between the parent and child.
• Bentley Yarn Carriers – an Indigenous women’s group open to all women giving support, personal development and encouragement in all aspects of life.

Extra Edge Community Services helps develop the skills you need to gain employment. We provide access to free career guidance and advice. We help you to develop an employment plan and examine what is required in the modern work place.

We can also help you with:

• Career exploration and guidance.
• Employment information.
• Personal Accident Insurance for Work Experience Participants.
• Access to computer, internet, photocopying, printing and faxing facilities.
• Internet website job search portal called “MY GUIDE”.
• Job search support in a kind and supportive environment.
• Training options.
• Employability skills, including advice on Resumes, Application Letters, and Selection Criteria.
• Computer based job search and training research.
• Profit from Experience Program: Assisting over 40’s (Indigenous over 35’s).

You do not need to make an appointment and can drop by any time Monday- Friday during business hours.
